Microsoft eyeing Twitter?

TU - Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer reportedly held a meeting with Twitter CEO Dick Costolo, in a breakfast event in San Francisco.

No one has leaked the topic of their discussion. However, based on rumors, the two sides to talk about business partnerships. Unfortunately either Microsoft or the Twitter to keep a close mouth tightly result of the discussions.

Wonder what the two talked about the CEO? We know that Microsoft and Twitter are two different companies market share. Being a business partner could have done even the acquisition of both companies to expand their market.

On the one hand, Microsoft as an IT giant now being industrious-getolnya build social networks, as a form of improving their online services. On the other hand, Twitter has a huge market. But the thing is, the formula of business they have not considered making a fortune. So is it true that Twitter will be acquired by rumors of Microsoft's hot right?

Clearly, Twitter CEO Dick Costolo in an interview quoted by AllThingsD TU, Sunday (12/12/2010), once said would never sell Twitter. He said it was in July 2010, when Dick replaces the old CEO, Ev Williams.

The only middle ground is probably the cooperation that provide space for Microsoft to take advantage of Twitter data network, in improving their advertising business.
