LG ambitious to Make Down Nokia and Samsung

TU - LG Electronics has launched big ambitions in the mobile market. They target the two major world ranked in 2012, with the Android operating system as the mainstay.

Currently in the global market, LG is ranked third largest mobile phone maker after Nokia and Samsung. Meaning, they want to overthrown the one or two names to embrace his ambition.

LG targets to sell 140 million units of mobile phones in 2010, increased 20 percent from the year 2009. They intend poured 20 variations of smartphones with a variety of operating systems including Android, Windows Mobile and Linux.

"We are facing a revolutionary change in the mobile industry fueled rapid growth in smartphones. We will continue the groundbreaking in 2010 to become the two major in 2012," said Skott Ahn, CEO of LG Electronics.

LG has agreed with Microsoft to make Windows Mobile a leading smartphone operating system product. But they tend to prefer the Android. Of the 20 smartphone will be released this year, 10 of whom will be based on Android.

Responding ambition overthrew LG Nokia or Samsung, Gartner analyst Carolina Milanesi of little doubt. "The implication is between Samsung and Nokia will go down position and I see it will never happen," said Milanesi. Milanesi reasoned, Nokia and Samsung are still very strong position.
